Botox® Cosmetic
Wrinkles result from a combination of many factors. It’s not just about cellular changes that can occur over time, reduction of collagen, or damage caused by free radicals in the sun and the environment. When you frown or concentrate, the muscles between your brows contract, causing your skin to furrow and fold. When you squint, the muscles around your eyes contract and cause crow’s feet. When we inject these muscles with BOTOX® Cosmetic it targets the repeated muscle contractions and temporarily reduces the muscle activity by blocking the nerve impulses in the muscle that causes wrinkles. When the muscle doesn’t contract the skin above it stays smooth.
BOTOX® Cosmetic targets these repeated muscle contractions .

You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of your crow’s feet lines and frown lines between your brows within 10 days and result will last about 4 months or longer, though many patients refresh their BOTOX® every 4-5 months.

Botox® for Axillary Hyperhidrosis
Hyperhidrosis, more commonly known as excessive sweating, can significantly affect a person’s quality of life. In some cases, problematic sweating is limited to one area of the body, such as the underarms or feet, a condition called focal hyperhidrosis. Other cases are more generalized, with sweating over large areas of the body. The most common areas affected by hyperhidrosis are the scalp, underarms, hands, feet and groin area.

Although Botox is most often associated with cosmetic wrinkle reduction, it is also a particularly effective treatment for focal hyperhidrosis. Botox works by blocking the nerves responsible for activating your sweat glands. Normally, your nervous system activates your sweat glands when your body temperature rises. In people with hyperhidrosis, however, the nerves that signal the sweat glands are overactive. When you receive Botox injections directly into the area of your body that commonly sweats, your overactive nerves are essentially paralyzed. When your nerves can’t signal your sweat glands, you don’t sweat.
Retreatment is typically needed every six months, as the nerves regenerate. Over time, however, patients can go longer between treatments.

Botox® for Migraines
Acute and chronic migraines are often underdiagnosed. If you suffer from numerous headaches (up to 15 days per month) and have up to 8 acute headaches per month resembling migraines, you need to follow up with your family physician to review your symptoms. You may be eligible for BOTOX injections for symptom relief and pain control caused by acute and chronic migraines after an accurate diagnoses combined with trying varied combination of medications.
Botox works for migraine headaches by blocking chemicals called neurotransmitters that carry pain signals from your brain. Botox is like a roadblock in that pathway. It stops the chemicals before they get to the nerve endings around your head and neck.

Botox® for Bruxism
Bruxism can lead to pain, headaches, jaw problems and damaged teeth. However, research has shown that by injecting small doses of BOTOX directly into the masseter muscle (the large muscle that moves the jaw), the muscle is weakened enough to stop involuntary grinding of the teeth and clenching of the jaw. This significantly relaxes the muscle thereby alleviating pain and reducing the wear and tear on the teeth due to grinding.
Dysport®
Dysport is proven to help smooth the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines without changing the look or movement of the rest of your face. Like BOTOX®, Dysport works by temporarily blocking the signal from nerve to muscle, preventing contraction in the targeted area, and smoothing the skin above it. Untreated muscles still work normally, so you can continue to express feelings naturally.
Every time we laugh, frown, concentrate, or narrow our eyes in the sun, muscle contraction causes the skin to crease. As skin ages and elasticity decreases, these creases can become deeper, lingering even when the face is more relaxed. Regular treatment can have transformative effects as the patient “un-learns” the muscular habit that caused the wrinkles in the first place.
Results are visible in just 2-3 days and can last up to 4 months.
Xeomin®
XEOMIN® is the new choice for wrinkle prevention. It is effective on frown lines and wrinkles between the eyebrows, forehead creases, lip lines, and crow’s feet as uses the same active ingredient as BOTOX® to reduce wrinkles by inhibiting these muscles, stopping wrinkles before they can form. The difference is that XEOMIN® contains no protein additives, therefore you may be less likely to develop a resistance to the XEOMIN® formulation.

You will start seeing results in just 3-10 days after treatment and will have your best results after 30 days. Results typically last three months or longer.
